Question about front subframe and handling
Is that the name of the part in which the steering rack and lower control arms all bolt to? Also is that fixed into the car not bolted. Reason im asking is ive owned this car for 11yrs. Ive been tryin to figure out its messed up handling since ive owned it.
Car gets toe wear for no reason and its always in spec. Everything has been replaced from balljoints to the Z-10 cross member back when they first came out (now sold and back to stock). Every once in a blue moon the car will handle tight out of nowhere, wether i hit a bump just right or even in a horrible hail storm last summer in which about 3-4 inches of hail was wedged in the suspension and made the car handle perfect. (yes i know thats quite odd)
Now after all these years ive come to the assumption that something slips out of where it should be, then pops back in or flexing. Last thing i can think of it being is that the subframe is slipping or popping also causing the inner toe wear. Ive been under the car countless of times and have never seen any major cracks. Ive taken a break from wasting money on it the past 5yrs and thought id give it one last try. Anyone got some ideas?
I've replaced the following or have been through the following.
balljoints, inner/outter tie rods and rack end bushing and new steering rack from honda
Z-10 cross member
neuspeed upper
eibach prokit springs with tokico blues then the front switched to koni adj's
tein supersports
full energy suspension bushing kit (Black Graphite Impregnated) i know about the binding and deteriorating of the bushings after time
Everything mentioned above has been replaced in order to try and figure out the handling issues

I'm pretty sure the front subframe bolts in, I have not unbolted one but I have seen pictures on here where people have removed them. You might want to look closely and make sure all the bolts are in and tight.
Ya i just checked them. I remember hitting those with an impact gun before. Also just took a torque bar to it and they didnt budge. I think im going to try and find a subframe from a parts car
