Default Is a manual steering rack swap possible?

I have a 93 Accord LX. I,m wondering if their is a manual steering rack that could be swapped in. Perhaps an older prelude or accord?

You could just loop at the rack? That removes the reservoir and pump if that's what you're looking to do. There's a DIY in the ITR forum I believe or Prelude forum. Either will work for you to do on the Accord.

So long as you vent the connection you will accomplish the same thing for like $15 from parts from Lowes/Advanced Auto

The reason I want manual steering is for the excellent driving response. Doing a pump delete will feel terrible. So I guess the question is do other Honda steering racks swap into the 92 accord?

The 84-87 Civic Wagon uses a Manual rack. If you could find more specs for it you would be one step closer.

Why don't you just remove the system and put NPT plugs in the rack?

The 84-87 Civic rack is smaller than the Accord rack. I'm not even quite sure why that rack was suggested; surely GhostAccord could think of a newer Honda that used a manual rack, like a 92-95 Civic CX (this one won't fit either, the subframe mounting positions are different).

Honestly, I never even bothered to look for more than a minute. He could search just as easily as I did.

This is all I did

I picked the first one that showed up.

I have driven both, an early 90's Civic with manual steering and a mid 90's Accord with the PS pump removed and the rack with an open loop. I prefer the power rack with the open loop/vented. They used the small clutch reservoir as the open loop/vent.
