New knocks after work
Guys,
A couple of weeks ago, I changed out the timing belts, replaced the front crank shaft seal, replaced the water pump, replaced the brake pads and turned the rotors, and replaced the catalytic converter.
Now, I have this peculiar series of knocks and vibrations that I can feel in the floor specifically when I have it in reverse, or when the car idles up (>1500), or when I let off the accelerator while drive. Interestingly, with acceleration, it goes away. With the car running and in Park, if I push down on the front bumper the knock returns, then goes away (as the care goes back up). I can also induce it in this position if I roll the car up (by leaning on it) just a little while its in Park.
Then engine sounds fine and runs well.
I was thinking this could be do to the driverside engine mount.
Any thoughts?
