Honda discontinuing '10 si's?
I heard from my friend that honda might discontinue the 2010 si's. When he emailed honda about pricing/ordering a si sedan, he had received an email about honda not taking orders for si's and that they might be discontinued
im sure it was honda that he was talking about cuz ever since i told him about fa5's he been wanting to get one so he decided to get some quotes from 2 honda places. one of them told him that it was going to be discontinued, the other just ask him a lot of questions instead of answering his question
edit: heres the email that was sent to him.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for replied my email. I checked with my inventory manager, he said there is no 2010 Honda Civic Si out there any where and Honda is not taking any orders this time. ( it might be discontinued this model).
Do you want to check out the Civic Coupe instead?
Thanks

Not sure if there is going to be a 2011 Si or not, but I know we are already getting some of the 11 models on our lot, so they may be why.

That. Just because Honda's not taking orders for 2010's does not mean they're fulfilling MY2011 orders.
No R, no Si? I hope Toyota's problems becomes Honda's as well if that is indeed the case. Money being the driving priority of a once reliable motor company will undoubtedly be their downfall.

That's usually the case with any model redesign. Take for example the current E90/92/93's. It took a while for an M3 model to enter the consumer hands after the 3 series' initial introduction.
That's how they've been making them since they came out, same with 911 turbos. 911 comes out, then the S then 2 years later the turbo comes out then a year later the Turbo S comes out. Usually flagship cars are in the market first with baser models then the sport/flagship model comes out.
Hey Ross...you should know a little better than that.....there WAS the 1992/1993 DA9 B17 GS-R's.....in white,teal,milano, and black.
Perhaps you were Specifically referring to DC and DB GS-R's....
