Hey guys,

Need some info from the CRX experts. I've got a guy that's selling a 1989 CRX Si and he's telling me that it's a real factory Si. It has the d16 engine, all the badging, correct Si seats, yet it has drum brakes in the back. I thought all the Si's have 4-wheel disk brakes? Am I wrong? How can I tell for sure that his car is definitely a real Si? Vin number?

Help me out so I know if this guy is telling the truth or not.

the 88-89 crx si's came with rear drums. they didn't get rear discs until the 90-91 models. chances are, it's authentic.
