Oil in coolent resevoir-Y8- help!

Default Oil in coolent resevoir-Y8- help!

just found out today that oil magicly appeared in my coolent resevoir. idk when that happened but it did. was curious to kno if it is the head gasket or can it come from other places as well? help appreciated.

I don't believe there is any other place for oil and coolant to mix other than where the head meets the block. Check your radiator too for oil. Pretty certain it's the headgasket.

If the car is an auto then the radiator could be bad between the oil cooler and the coolant side of the radiator,mixing tranny fluid with coolant would look pretty much the same.

If the car is a stick shift then it is most likely the head gasket.
Check your oil and see if it looks like malted milk.
