ITS TIME!!!! EF SEDAN BUILD!!!
After seeing so many ef sedan builds, I'll finally start mine.let me start by saying I LOVE EF SEDANS. Don't get me wrong i love other hondas. but the ef sedan was the first car i bought.this will be #3 ef sedan I've owned.and maybe the last.
I actually started with a jdm b16a swap. I bought it from my neighbor. it was in his ef sedan. he had it for like 3 months before his car was stolen and vandalize.not wanting to rebuild his car, he sold me his entire car with the swap for $900.the car was running perfect but the exterior and interior was so beat up. i decided to salvage the swap and everything else i could save and find another ef sedan. Info on the motor-bone stock obd-0 b16a 60k perfect running motor/tranny hasport mounts

So after 2 months for searching for an ef sedan,i found a 1988 civic ef sedan.which i purchased for $900.its a one owner.240k.no accident. all original. and very clean in and out. I dont really have any good pics of when i first got the car. but just picture a clean stock ef

stock sohc motor

11/13/2006 very first day i bought it, i drove it 20 miles back home and stripped the stock sohc swap out and sold it for $300.so i prepped the bay for the b16 swap. slapped the motor in got everything in and running.

Now here is the CRAZY part. Instead of
driving it. i PARKED it. yup!! Its been parked since the first day i got it. Everyone keeps on telling me why i never drove it. I simply say, IT NOT TIME YET.
About 2 weeks ago i finally said ITS TIME. So in the past 3 years its been parked, I been saving money and parts. I've also been thinking of everything i wanted to do the car. So let me start by saying the car is not going to be a track/auto crossing car, nor is it going to be a show car. Im building it to be a clean reliable low cruiser. A car i can enjoy driving and turn heads. So here it goes.
im like 2 weeks behind from keeping this thread updated. basically the first two weeks i stripped down the car to basically to a shell.
First I took off the front suspension/subframe/cross member

look at all the dirt stuffed in there

parts im sellin

parts im keeping

Second I started cleaning up some space in the engine bay.

then i stripped everything.

So about the second week i started stripping the interior and moving it to storage

how it looks now

Also that week i remove the rear drum brakes.

Notice the rust I found bubbling under the paint. I started peeling it to see how bad it was. Luckily it just surface rust. I also took a pressure washer to remove as much old under coating as i could.

Was at walmart and found some under coating.

While pulling the parts off, I notice some of the parts needed to be badly replace. So i got online and started buying parts i needed to replace. will post them as i get them. And also keep you guys updated.

After 3 years, I have pretty good idea of how its going to be. First i would like to restore the body and paint as if it rolled off the factory. So im keeping it silver. you could probably tell what im goin to do with the bay.As for suspension, you just gotta wait to see. Till then heres a taste of other cars i built.

Started cleaning the RTA and cables. Also the sub-frame.

let it dry. then spray it up
