When I turn the key, I can hear the fuel pump revving and a single click from the battery but that is about it- won't turn over at all. My voltmeter is reading 13V on the batt and all fuses for the gas pump/starter are in working order. Someone suggested a new starter earlier, anyone have any suggestions at all? Thanks in advance.

 

My 2000 Honda Accord EX (4 cylinder, Auto Trans, 4 doors) is having problem starting. When I put the car in the ignition and turn it won't start, engine doesn't crank. I initial thought it was a starter problem but local mechanic (specialize in Honda Accura) told me that it's Ignition (key entry) problem. He said, "it is known problem with Honda cars, and replacing the ignition assembly should fix the problem". He said that there is a recall from Honda and Honda dealership should be able to fix it for free.
