R135 curcuit on p28 is burnt

Default R135 curcuit on p28 is burnt

I have a chipped p28 with a h22 base map and the other day my car wouldnt start on me.Everything checked out so i narrowed it down to the ecu.I opened up the Ecu and noticed the R135 circuit is burnt and missing when i was comparing it to my friends virgin p28.I pluged it back in and now the car runs fine but im not sure for how long.Anyone know what R135 on a p28 is for and why this happend ?

R135 leads to pin D18 on an OBD1 ECU board, that is an interlock control unit (A/T)

So u think a wiring issue caused this?

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! hi i have a 99 civic ex sedan with a 95 integra ls swap non v-tec. but anyways i started my car up this morning and there was a loud ticking noise coming from under the hood. i left the car running and i put mr ear on the valve cover for a lissen and to me it sounds like its in there. but something told me to put my ear on the intake manifold and when i did it is a lot louder. and to state the oveouse the intake manifold is conected to the head. so is there any one out there that can help me out please. and if any one knows of any sites or any other places where i can get the replacement parts that i would need for a low price. PLEASE HELP!!

That's what I would assume. If you check your wiring harness you will be able to know more. Find out what wire, if any is plugged into D18. Is your car an automatic?

I would guess that ticking is probably your valves needing adjustment. Or it could be a loud injector.

With the car running, take a long screwdriver and use it as a stethoscope. Place the blade of the screwdriver on the injector body. Then put your ear to the handle of the screwdriver. This will allow you to hear if an injector is where the tick is coming from.

ok i took it to a guy and he spent about 30 mins. with it and droped it back off to me then he took the valve cover off and showed me that all of the rocker arms but 2 were loose. he then gave me the gap tool. and then showed me how to do it. we put the valve cover back on. i started it back up and NO TICKING AT ALL. the best part about it was that the gaping tool that he used he gave it to me and told me to keep it. and for the tool, and the lesson. he only charged me 30 bucks. WOW i got a hell of a deal. but thanks for everything you were a big help.
