The track is closer than willow springs is to the so cal group?
This looks like fun but darn sure hotter than a **** in summer.

The track is located in Desert Center, which is farther than Buttonwillow for those of us in the L.A. area. And yes it will be hot in the summer, but so to are Buttonwillow and Willow Springs.

hmmm...about 2.5 hours out from me..... about the same distance to Willow...and closer than buttonwillow


but HOT sucks.... maybe a good winter track

The track is so super long and not enough turns will suck for low Hp cars. I didnt see a single technical area. This is designed for 300+ hp cars mainiy V8's.

I agree with you Edo...
I would'nt mind stretching the K-20 out there just to see how it goes. I'll bet if it takes off and gets popular, they will eventually build some wigggly bits into the track, just like at Button Willow.... And anything will be better than Button Willow!
I wish them luck, and you can never have too many racetracks.

That track seems to be really far! That climb after Indio going towards there is a b*tch too. When I used to drive trucks, if memory serves me, there were no fuel stations there or hotels. Nothing.

Yeah, there is nothing even close to the track area. I used to go to Havasu on that two lane road next to this track. That is one isolated place.

Ahh thats right mike its pretty isolated out there.
If something goes wrong out that way a helicopter is your only way out in a hurry!
