Icon2 EBay Strut Bars ?

I recently picked up a 1990 Civic HB Base. I am still hashing out some mechanical stuff but am looking forward to some small improvements. I found a 3 piece Strut Bar set on EBay. The price bothers me though. They are asking $16.50 & $21.50 shipping for all three bars. So for $38 I can have a Front Upper Bar, a Rear Upper Bar and a Rear Tie Bar.

The question is: Are these bars worth it? Has anyone bought and tried these? I have seen posts making fun of the "Fart Tubes" sold on Ebay because of their cheap construction and lack of real engineering and wonder if these bars fall in the same catagory.

Does spending that $38 inhibit you from spending the same amount on something else, like tires, brakes, or an event entry fee?

I've always looked at ebay strut bars sort of like rubbing one out, you know what you're in for, it's better than nothing, but doesn't hold a candle to the real thing.

basically restating what Stinkycheezmonky said, if you can spare the $38, you're not hurting anything.

If a guy who's screen name is Lo-Buck EF says there not worth it, that is good enough for me. Thanks.

So now that EBay bars are out, what is a good inexpensive bar?
