Oil filling up Endyn breather too fast!!
was at a local race track, and on the 3rd run, i was kick out after doing a burnout, because they saw oil dripping on the ground, came to the boot and pop the hood and notice that oil was filled up in my endyn breather can. This is how i set it up

any thoughts??

did you try blocking off the stock small nipple on the back of the valve cover to see if it still was sucking oil? try fitting some clear hoses to your fittings and test out different configurations. give it some good revs and see what it does.

Possibly but I think in those cases some people pulled out the freeze plug (the one that goes into the block, not the cooling jacket) and installed a fitting into it so it could drain back into the block by gravity feed. I'm sure I saw a small write up on here somewhere with pictures and everything.
not sure about the freeze plug, its possible.
check here there was some good discussion

That's the thread I was thinking of and when I looked back at the original picture, I realized that it was a picture of a block and not a valve cover so the drain back meathod he drew above would probably work.
This is the correct way that Endyn offers with their kit. This is also the same way i run mine but i've beat the **** out of my car and have never had the can fill up. So i was just thinking that instead of routing it back into the block I would just route it to the ground. From what i've seen once it comes out of the block it also turns into some nasty **** that I personally wouldnt like having going back into my motor. But again in your scenario it would be best to route it back in.
but if you route it to the ground you will run out of oil...
the crap you see is just moisture mixing with the oil, it happens when you shut your car off and park it overnight too, you just dont see it.

if you are really worried about nasty oil going back into the engine, run an inline oil filter on the return line like this one
Very common for these type of catch cans to do this. As for also routing it to the back of the block, you might also want to get a larger can to help relieve some of the pressure.
what are people using to attach a fitting for a drain back where the black canister went? weld on a bung onto an aluminum freeze plug? i havent found many places that sell aluminum freeze plugs.
I just plugged up the whole on the back of the block where the black box used to go into. Autozone sells a plug that fits perfectly.
bringing this back.
I have an LS/VTEC with the Endyn breather setup. Tracked the car for 2 years no issue at all. Recently switched to a Moroso baffled oil pan, now my catch can is over overflowing and leaking oil all over.
I have my setup exactly like the picture above.
Any ideas why it would be spewing oil now that I have a baffled oil pan?
