Default 98 odyssey a/c help

so im alittle lost and fraustrated on my a/c . all my fuses are ok and i just replaced the a/c clutch relay from honda. when the compressor isnt on the pressure is at 45psi, when it is on it shows 25psi. now i have to jump it to have my compressor to turn on, so could it be a bad ecu or just really low on freon? oh and the pressure switch is fine and the compressor doesnt make any funny noises when jumped.

if you have to jump it to start it, it must be low on freon or the pressure switch for the freon is bad

freon is fine took it to a shop today after work and the only thing it could be is something electrical. i told him my situation that i can jump the clutch relay plug and the compressor turns on. he asked when im using a test light do u get 2 cords that power up with a test light, i was like no only 1. he then tells me i need 2 wires that power up from the clutch relay plug, since i only have 1. so i found out what fuse it was and now i get 2 that light up but the compressor still doesnt turn on and my now fan doesnt turn on ever since i replace the fuse. im lost and fraustrated i dont have the time or money to leave it to a shop to fix

it did but when i replaced the fuse in the enginebay they stopped working? the radiator fan kicks on when it heats up but other than that when i turn the a/c on the fan doesnt kick on? ive check most of the grounds by the front bumper that leads to the fans and looks good?

The heater fan? If no replace the blower fan transistor and both should start working again. About $80 from the dealer. The a/c compressor will not come on of the transistor doesn't sense the blower fan is running.

have u jumped the pressure switch ,,( the one under the battery ??) did the compressor tun on,
if yes you have a freon problem
if no then its electrical ,
if all fuse are good and relay good along with the switch indash , then your problem is in the ecu .
ac circut goes to the ecu so it can cut it off under load for fuel economy, you could just cut it out and bypass the ecu , it just wont shut off at w o t ...

also i read your pressures listed on the first post 45psi off and 25 on ,, thats way to low to operate any thing under 30 will turn off the compressor when it is running ..

dont just run a wire to the clutch on the compressor it will just ice over the evaporator and will do nothing but give u a block of ice

yup when i jump the pressure switch the compressor turns on.

yes all fuses replaced and my climate controll seems to be ok minus the slider but i can move it from hot - cold.

whats funny is that when i took it to the shop the guy told me that theres enough pressure in my system and told me i have something electrical? so should i add more freon then since when its jump its at 25psi? when i added freon i used the cans from the store.

do the fans come on when you turn on the a/c from inside all connections are normal (not bypassed)..if they do then you know you have signal. most likely a relay...where in the 805 do you live..I work at T.O.

only one worked but when i replaced a fuse by the enginebay it stopped working. only one fan turns on and thats just if the car is heating up, other than that w/o it jumped both fans dont turn on even if jump they dont so i have like 2 problems now.. everything inside works fine and i did replace both relays by the radiator. i need me a helms or haynes book this chilton book sucks...
