what is the best tranny to use for my car, i have a b18c making 580whp,i currently have a b16 tranny but it seems to go through the gears real quick,so what tranny would be better,GSR or mixed gear ratios.i want a setup that will run 10's easily,also i want to use my stock tranny or stock tranny parts.can't afford a liberty or any of those right now

 

gsr as long as you can rev high. ls's suck. also slick size will vary capable trap speed. ie you can trap alot higher on 26's vs 23's.

 

GSR has longer gears than a B16a but LS has even longer gears. Thats what im gonna try when I can afford to build one

 

Run the GSR with 24" slicks

With that power you should be good

 

i have b16- 1-2-3-gsr 4th.
i am actually taking out hte gsr 4th and goin back to all b16.

running 24.5 mt, shifting at 10.5k and only trapping 9600in 4th. i want to be closer to 10.5. only trapping 148. hope to trap over 152.

guess its what my little turbo likes. hahaa.
