Why is the 00 model 11 lbs lighter than the 99 model?

Also it's comforting to find that the EM1 is anywhere from 4-14 lbs heavier than an Acura Integra type R DC2.

Hmmm, looks the same when i checked

As far as it weighting more than a ITR......add

- power sunroof
- air conditioning
- cruise control

 

Check again. It states 11 lbs of extra baggage.

 

Are you sure thats US specs and not Canadian specs? Just checking, maybe theres a difference??

My 2000 Canadian EM1 will weight more. It comes with ABS, and heated mirrors. I am not sure what it weights

 

us specs is where im looking.

 

I supplied a couple of links with weights. I am away for business for a couple days. When i get home this weekend, i will check the factory oem Civic brochures for both 1999 and 2000. I have both and will confirm this 100%
