Damn, and I thought I'd spend a grip of $$$$$ on my prelude
Why such tiny injectors? And why mess with VAFC hackin' it? With that many goodies and so much already invested, I'd ditch the vafc ($250) and those RC's ($200) and buy a conversion harness ($200), a chipped P72 ($250), a resistor box ($30), some 530 cc injectors off a JDM 4g63 ($70) and a hondata 2b setup ($450).....
So all in all it'll cost you another 450, and you'll be able to tune the crap out of it and make more power.....those 370's are only like 100cc more than stock and way too tiny for the boost you'll be making on that badboy.....that 18G in the greddy kit should be good enough to make 20ish psi I'd think....maybe more.....
Good Luck!

yeah, injectors are too small, and what are you going to use to tune this?

the 370cc injectors actually came with the kit. i figure for the first few months while i run 10psi or less. then come all the power.... better fuel management, and >20psi (i hope). i can pick up some 550cc for a decent price, and i can then put the 370s on my Teg (overkill i know), and the VAFC will be easy to sell around here. i've already got a P72 in my Teg, adn plan to get a chipped P28 for it, so i can just send the P72 to Hondata i guess...... the only problem though, is that where i live, no one else has Hondata, and there isn't anywhere close that can adjust it. besides that, i live in the Mtns. and i am afraid that a 2hr road trip to my G/F in college will be play hell on my fuel system. besides that, i just dropped a big *** chunk of change (obviously) and i can't afford a laptop to tune a standalone

Where do you live in the mountains? If it's somewhere in Colorado, you can drive it down south to New Mexico and my shop will tune your hondat perfect

hahaha..... that would be nice, but i live in the Appalacian Mtns of NC, not the Rockies.

if i buy a 2b setup adn 3bar MAP, will the ECU automatically adjust fuel per PSI, or will that all have to be tuned. there is a place about 3hrs away that is a hondata dealer and has a dyno, but like i said, if it is tuned to run good there, i am afraid when i go up in elevation, and the atmospheric pressure changes, everything will have to be readjusted. i was just curious if the hondata 2b was "smart" enough to account for the change in atmospheric pressure.

The hondata fuel maps are adjusted at rpm intervals based on how much pressure the engine is seeing. For example, on my car at 5500 ft elevation, I can't even get the motor to see 1 atmosphere (like it would at sea level)....
So technically you should be fine if you tune at a lower elevation, because at higher elevations the engine will just not see as much pressure and will use the maps for less pressure......

Nice Setup...If you want some RC440's I will sell them to you. I have a MF2 controller along with some 550's that are on there way so if you want them I can figure out a price. How much was the re-sleeving job if you don't mind me asking.
That's probably the next thing that I am looking into right now. If you are headed to Nopi we should meet up along the way since I live in the lower part of Kentucky. Good luck with getting everything together.

Why an MF2? I've never had any good experiences with MF2 fuel controllers.......get another 2 550's and a hondata to tune the fuel with rather than tacking on an MF2 to your existing setup
