I'm looking to get the spoon n1 for my hatch. Not many people have it in the civic forum so i figured i'd ask here. I've narrowed it down between the Type One catback or Type One b-pipe and Spoon n1 rear section. What would you choose? If you know about either one please comment.

When people say the Spoon N1 is loud, ok. But how about with a silencer? How much does it quiet it down?

 

Don't know but the T1R with silencer sounds just a little bid louder than stock with the popping.

 

Yes i know they are loud. Right now i have the apex N1 catback, love the sound but it hangs way too low. I've heard the Spoon n1 is louder then the Apex N1 because the cannister is smaller. I think a small tip would look better on a hatch. My n1 looks huge. If anyone has pics please share .

This is the only pic i've been able to find of the type one on a hatch but it looks to be on a EK not an EH.

 

i'm biased. but if i were to buy it again, i would get the spoon N1.

I just have to wait untill R&D gets more T1R and Spoon exhausts back in stock. So i have some time to think about it. At the moment i'm leaning toward the spoon n1.

Next time around, I may try the BC Spec III.

The only thing is, now that i'm in love with the spoon n1 i don't know if i should get it. I plan on Boosting my car to atleast 7psi. I don't know if this is a wise choice for an exhaust with my future plans. I'm really liking it too dammit.........

If your going boost, get a 3 inch exhaust system. Thermal makes a good and cheap one.

Do you think the spoon would be decent with boost or just suck? The main reason i want this exhaust is because it provides wonderful ground clearance.

 

Thermals have good ground clearance also.
