Default Structure and Chassis 4dr si vs ???

So, long term I'm starting to save for a car. Possible's are 6-6 Accord, TSX, and 4dr SI. BUT, I always like to leave my options open, and being in the car business, ya never know what may pop up.

Say I found a 06 or newer stripped down sedan (I can really care less about options, roll down windows and such are what I PREFER), anyway, say I come across a cheap sedan. Is the basic structure and chassis the same as the SI, as in rigidity an such?

Reason I ask, is because if I come across something cheap or wrecked. I may be interested in just making an Si the way I like, compared to purchasing an Si. I understand suspension, brakes, and drivetrain are different, but curious about the rest. Ok guys, let me know, thanks for your time.

As far as I know there is no structural difference between the Si's and the regular civic's. I think the Type R has some extra structural bracing but not the Si.
