has any one had any issues on 96-98 ctr grills?

cause i have a 1/97 hatch and seems like the ctr grill i bought from jhpusa doesn't fit i looked on the back and it sais its for 7/97-98 . i thought 96-98 were interchangeable?

can some one help me out on this question ? thanks

Does it not fit at all? or does it just fit very poorly? (gaps, etc)

my assumption would be the same 96-98 is interchangeable.

 

i was having a similiar issue it just seemed like it lifted up from the bumper on the bottom of it alot i spoke to some other people they seemed to have a similiar issue either not sure i just left it like that my issue really wasnt too noticeable

 

Does it have screws that connect it to the bumper?

Depending on what OP bought. I had the aftermarket type r style grill and since it wasn't screwed down to the bumper there was a gap between the bumper and the grill.

 

that's why i would rather pay 25 and have it fit a little off...then pay 250 and have it not fit right either.

 

well it fits, but at the bottom of the grill there's about 1/2 inch gap, everything is oem Honda no replicas in my car but the screws and length wise its fine but is a bit short in height i don't get why? did they somehow change the bumpers a bit in 98?
