Friday morning I done some running around and encountered a issue.. I saw my temp gauge go up alittle and my volt gauge go from 14v to just above 12v. The car didnt seem to run weird but i guess i was more into tryen to get home and not get stranded then how the car ran..(keep in mind I do have a aftermarket volt and temp guage) The factory gauge wasnt reading hott stayed below the half mark and my other gauge was reading 180 or so, I got worried alittle..Later that night I went out for and didnt have any issue with the volt or anything.. Now yesterday I got the same issue, I wired the fan to a switch due to not finding the solution yet.. But as soon as I fliped the switch the volts droped again and I stepped on it and it went up and back down..Now iam thinking the alt cant keep up with the load but then I do have a old batt and thought maybe thats it too..I read a few post here and someone said maybe the Eld unit is bad or the alt fuse? if so where are these located and how to test..Iam gonna get the alt and batt teste at autozone right now but was tryen to see if theres more i should check.. Could use all the help!?!?!

 

Well, found out alittle more but same problem.. If I have the rear and front defroster,radio and fan going not much of a drop..But as soon as I turn the headlights big drop in volts.. I did get both the alt and batt checked and they came back good..But I went ahead and bought a batt due to the batt being 4years old and just thought might as well.. I put all back together and it seemed fine but 5mins on the road it was dropping voltage to 12.5.. But again as soon as iam on the gas it goes up and thats with no load just stereo and fan..No batt light comes on or flickering of any dummy lights indacating iam not charging or problems.. It also dosent do it all the time just sparactaly (sp) I forgot to mention its a 97 honda accord with the f22b2 auto trans..
