Icon2 Mini-Me questions - w/ pics

Putting a z6/b7 mini me into my 91 Crx Dx, just have a few questions about plugs, hoses etc. I'm new at engine building stuff

where does the bottom connect to?

what goes here? nothing came on it

what does this run to?

where does this hose run to

this runs where

Pictures would be helpful as to where things run. After i find where this stuff runs, put on the new dizzy and vtec solenoid I should be ready to go. Any and all help is appreciated

i've got an obd0-obd1 jumper harness for the ecu/vtec. It comes with instructions on how to wire up vtec, seems simple enough.

any help is awesome, i want my crx back with this bad boy in it. I basically replaced everything. The only issue beside these plugs and hoses is that i've gotta get new bolts for the valve cover. One snapped in half

Do you have the d15b7 wiring harness aswell? The plugs will be different than That the obdo d15b2 one your car had stock aswell the vtec solenoid female plugs are only on The ex/si harnesses .I'll try and get you any/all the extra plugs you'll need tomorrow(I assumed you had a d16z6 wiring harness)

pic#2 has a plug that runs off your injecter wires. its between the injecter clips and the resistor box. pic#3 there is a black hose that is clamped up on the top right of your fire wall and one end should be hanging down.

first pic is where the fuel return line connects to

second pic is your idle air temp sensor. it's broken

third pic, the big vacuum feed is for the brake booster

fourth pic, top hose on the tb goes to the evap canister

fifth pic, the inlet to your fitv, runs to the intake manifold.

in the pic you can see the coolant starts at the im, moves through hose 1 into a stupid metal thingamuhjig with a vacuum line attached to it. then into hose 2, which goes to the inlet of the fitv. leaves the fitv in hose 3 and enters the iacv. then lastly into hose 4 where it drains into the coolant pipe on the back of the block.

i have a DPFI-MPFI harness made by a member on here. Idk if its set up for obd1 though. I'm not sure what plugs are different. I'm guessing the dizzy plugs are different but beside that idk

a dpfi to mpfi converted harness does not in anyway change the car to obd1 as well. it simply allows you to run an mpfi obd0 setup. if you want to run obd1 you will need the ecu jumper, dizzy adapter, 4 wire o2, etc.

i have a writeup for the 4 wire 02

and i'm guessing this can be used for the dizzy adapter using b7/b2 plugs
http://hondaswap.com/hybrid-ed-ef-da...adapter-73435/

already have a jumper with wires to run vtec. Is there anything else i need to do to convert to obd1?

wrap a cloth and a chain wrench around the crank pulley to hold it still.

this is my first engine build and just so many little things confuse the hell out of us. We snapped a bolt for the valve cover, broke a sensor on the intake, confused a bit about wiring the harness and creating a dizzy jumper.

The plugs in the link i posted I'm guessing are off the dizzys themselves not the harness correct? I've got two dizzys in my possession right now, obd0 d15b2 and obd1 d15b7. Can i make the dizzy jumper i need with these two or do i have to wait for the obd1 d16z6 dizzy with plugs?

you need the obd0 dizzy plugs (which you have) and obd1 harness side plugs.

its fairly easy to make your own dizzy jumper

just grab the plugs off an obd1 dizzy and grab the plugs off a an obd0 dizzy and match them up solder/heat shrink/sleeve or loom and BOOM! you made your own jumper

really?? its that easy?? guess i've got some stuff to do tomorrow

1. Make dizzy jumper
2. Buy replacement hoses/thermostat/valve cover bolts
3. clean/paint my engine bay(f*cker is disgusting)
4. Strip the rest of my valve cover and paint in Wrinkle Red
5. wait for my dizzy and vtec solenoid to get here

i want my car back already

alright I'm banging my head against the wall with my z6/b7 swap. The engine is about 80% compete. My one serious question that i have had hardly any idea about since day one is the engine harness. The b7 i bought came with a harness attached to it. My car is a 91 Crx Dx with harness still intact. I got a z6 dizzy which plugs right into the b7 harness. I have the ecu jumper to plug the P28 into the car. I know i have to wire vtec solenoid, and pressure switch.

What other modifications do i have to make harness wise or ecu wise so this engine will run?

The jumper i have came with extra wires for vtec and:
02 sensor heater control, 02 sensor signal, knock sensor, intake bypass sensor, service check signal, ground, power. And i'm guessing vtec goes straight from the solenoid to the ecu, but where does anything else go? If someone, ANYONE has pictures it would help alot.
