FS: CRV RT4wd 5-spd trans ~ B-series AWD ~ UBER RARE!!
got this for an awd project awhile back but I have to let it go, the wife & I are moving to nc next month and there's just no way I can take this with. I have pretty much complete info on what is needed to convert this to close ratio gearing and upgrading to lsd as well
comes complete with transfer case
shipped to anywhere in the contiguous 48, contact me for shipping elsewhere
I'm always on here, several other boards and ebay under the same sn so no worries about scamming, I'm 100% legit.
ebay feedback
pm me for vouches

concord/charlotte area
u can put in whatever chassis u want, just a matter of making it fit. In most cases it will likely need a custom upper trans mount, and a subframe to clear the rear output. EDIT: afaik the transfer case/rear output clears eg/dc subframes but not ek. If putting this into an ek you have to swap to an eg/dc subframe. Then you'll need the rest of the driveline components- rear diff, driveshaft, axles, rear hubs, etc
EDIT: anyone who may be considering an awd build, do searches on here and some of the other boards. There are quite a few threads on theory and builds and a bunch of vids on youtube too

Dang I could always use a spare....does it have the "transfer case" (I don't know it if you can even call it that it is so small)

Hello stmmotorsports, I've just spent 4 hours trawlling the web for information on how to upgrade the diffs in a CRV to LSD, I'm actually just about to buy a "B" series CRV gear box, rear diff ect ect. Unfortunately I'm in Western Australia, I think you are to far away for the shipping to make sense. I have just put a deposit on a Type R Honda Integra Motor and Gearbox. Can you give me info on upgrading the CRV diffs and gear set to close ratio? Ie will the integra gear set fit the CRV case. Is the rear diff the same center as the front. Would very much appreciate your help. Converting a classic mini into a monster.
the B-series crv trans were a blacksheep, they are alot more similar to h/f series trans just with a B-series bellhousing. Thus B-series internals will not swap into a crv case. When I mentioned the close ratio conversion, I was not intending to imply that there are parts that will directly swap in. It IS possible for someone willing to go that far to get it done, but it will require quite a bit of machining and some custom one-off parts. Also no a front diff will not fit in the rear, not even close
bump I am going to be in Buffalo (where my old shop is) for xmas so I will be able to ship this out while I'm up there if anyone is interested
