I was planning on doing a D15b swap from hmotorsonline but I was looking for a bigger selection of engines and a D16y6 of similar quality of hmotorsonline but they do not carry that engine and I cannot find another reliable source for motors. Can anyone give me a known engine supplier that is reliable and you know someone has dealt with?

I may do the D15B swap but I would like to someday do a turbo build but I hear the D15b doesn't handle turbo well and there are no market pistons that will work with the engine.

Also if I did do the D15B swap into my CRX I would like to put ITBs on it but It seems there are none for this motor and I believe my knowledge isn't sufficient to make my own.

 

And will the D15B bolt straight to the 87 CRX DX and what other motors will?

it will not bolt in. no one makes a mount kit for it to fit either. you will have to weld/fabricate your own mounts.
