have a d15z1 bonestock trying to run p28 will i run into any problems. p28 virgin need help and advice

P28 will not operate VTEC-E correctly.

cool in runnig it it seens to run clean and vtec cracks off better but it seens to run a little rich

With VTEC-E, you have 1 intake valve per cylinder closed until the VTEC mechanism engages (somewhere around 2000-3000 RPMs). So with the P28, you're running with those valves closed until VTEC engages at 4500-5500 RPMs. With those valves closed, you're not getting as much air into the engine, but you're still giving it fuel needed for a D16Z6; so you're running rich. You should get the right ECU, or swap the engine.

thanks for the advice i got the original p07 ecu. but heard i can take parts of the p07 ecu and slap them on a p28 ecu to run good but thats wat i heard any info on that will be good.
