h22 hatch 2.5L turbo?

Default h22 hatch 2.5L turbo?

Alright guys I have a h22a4 bored to a 2.5L and ill just say built to the max pressure tested to 45psi and blue printed to hold 900hp but only trying to get about 650 what turbo would you run I plan on driving this car whenever I feel like it not just a drag car

I would not do anything too extreme if you are planning on using it on anything more than a race only basis. Probably something you can easily adjust the boost for race days and then dial it back down for going to and from work. Turbos are not my area of expertise though... just a suggestion...

57 trim ....50 trim is too small

i would stick with a bigger gt30R. the 35R you better have alot of head work done not just the bottom end. so you can help spool time on that thing.

1. just stating a trim doesnt tell us anything. are you refering to intake or exhaust? also trim is just a calculation using wheel measurement it does not tell much of anything about turbo size.

2. if you were refering to a t3/t04e 57 trim compressor, it will no way in hell make 650whp.

3. i also highly doubt that any version of a gt30r will not make 650whp either.


OP, your on the right track with the gt35r or sc61. take a look at the precision billet turbos or many of the borg s-series turbos. there are a ton of options for a trubo that will make the power you need so its really hard to suggest just one.
