Hi guys,
I currently removed all my power steering components minus the steering rack setup... I am just curious to know which other Hondas that came with a manual rack that I could source locally at a wrecking yard and take their manual rack and swap mine out... also, anything I am missing that I'll need to finish this project?
Thanks in advance

older crx used to have manual steering racks. as long as u put fluid in the rack and loop the system u wont have any problems. most dont swap out the steering rack just disconnect and loop the hose back in. thier are kits that they sell with a reservoir u can mount to the firewall that u can fill and keeps it lubercated.

You'll have to drop exhaust, pull tie rods off, and unbolt left front axle and lower ball joint to to the swap.
It's tedius, but I went from manual rack to power rack on my 95 DX hatch.
I have a couple manual racks off 93 CX and 95 DX hatches I'd sell.

scuzz,
How much do you want $$ for a manual rack? Also, include shipping in that to 98075, thanks buddy.

i just got my power steering rack converted to manual by swapping out the steering rack to the cx model on my ek hatch. it feels alot tighter and its more responsive in my opinion.
u need a new joint and the covers that go over the shaft on the steering rack. i think that is all.

not worth the time in my opinion if you block one line loop the other 2 and add in a breathier youll be done,
but most cxs that i have seen are manual., and im pretty sure a eg rack wil bolt right in
