umm if got the springs u should buy some shocks to go with em. the stock ones will blow eventually when lowered. lca u can use any brand rally i got skunk2 gold ones.. if urputting the springs on stock setup then ur gonna need a spring compressor. can get it free rental from autozone. and just pull the top bolt off itsa 17mm i beleive. then ur stock sprng comes of and just put ur new spring on and reverse the takeoff..

I wouldn't even bother getting new shocks for those, unless yours are blown. If they are, just get some Tokico blues or KYB GR2's, which are both stock replacements. You won't need an expensive damper with that mild of a drop.

if you remove the castle nut on the lower ball joint and knock off the lower control arm and remove the long bolt going through, you can then remove the two nuts in the engine bay up top and release the whole unit in one big piece....
its kinda tough unless you have the whole car up the air a good amount where you can swing the whole unit out.....
you dont NEED the spring compressor....

that aint that big of a problem tome am a mechanic my self not cars but still jaja got all the necessary tools
I think he means if you are going to put in new springs and struts you would not need the compressor, however you would still need the top of your old strut so would still need to compress springs.
