I have a 2000 prelude non-sh that has a high pitched squeal that sounds kind of like metal vibration coming from the front end of the car. The sound is only there when accelerating and disappears immediately when i depress the cltuch. It also isn't there when i have my foot past halfway on the throttle, or when I'm maintaining a constant speed. If anyone has any ideas all helps appreciated

btw already checked calipers, guide pins and pads so ruling all those out.

you bumped your thread twice already in less than 2 hours .. there are plenty people who can help with most issues on the prelude.

however, bumping annoyingly isnt going to help that go any faster. in fact may cause it to take longer to find a good answer.

 

could be a clutch that is slipping or your atts might have a problem

 

I had the clutch replaced in December and the noise was there before it was done, also its a non-sh so no atts.

 

Just replaced the headers yesterday, half of the bracket was hanging of the pipe, and i guess it was rattling against the tube because now the squeal is gone.
