Back in the saddle again
I am new to this site but not to the Honda scene and especially the CRX. I had an 88 Si Y-49 back in the day and stupidly traded it in. My regret was so deep that I recently picked up a 90 Si White in need of a lot of TLC with the intent of fully restoring/upgrading it. Here are a few pictures of what I started with:

She looks like hell now but when I am done she will look like she just left the show room floor. I have all ready done a few upgrades but I will save that for later. Right now I am having fun with the dreaded roaming idle issue but aside from that she runs great.
Looking forward to catching up with some of the meets I have been seeing around my neck of the woods just to make some new friends and have a good time. I don't street race or do anything illegal because of where I work so "don't ask, don't tell" works for me if you do.

@DCRB...the PO left the hood bra on forever and it had rotted and was falling apart. Sadly it was beyond repair and ended up in the garbage. I love the battery connectors as it will allow me to build a nice setup once I get things under control with restoring the suspension and engine.
@lunalink...I all ready have three fenders and two rear quarter panels that are rust free that I need to prep before taking it to the body shop to have them rip out the rust and put on the newer stuff. Believe me the rust is a serious concern for me but that will be the most expensive part of the restoration.
Tech:
new KYB AGX struts
new Eiback Pro-kit springs
"new" B16A completely rebuilt
"new" Hydro tranny completely rebuilt
OBDO setup (for now). Will be going OBD1 sometime this summer.
Currently trouble shooting the roaming idle issue as the installer did a "custom" vacuum line hook up and there is no fitv under the hood that I can find. My biggest hassle is I have a P30 IM that doesn't match any of the vacuum diagrams for the OBD0 setup but I ain't giving that puppy up for nothing. Lol.
Suspension needs a bunch of bushings and to make sure everything is in good shape.
Here is the proof:

The interior:

Not much going on inside but one of the selling points was that the interior was clean and leak free (until I found I have a small leak from the rear light assembly...need to make a new gasket).
I need to take some new pics. Lol. The B16 shot shows the old IM and not the P30. At the end of the day I am happy to have a CRX back in my life and the irony is every time I turn around I find there is something else I need to fix. But when it's all said and done I will be looking at these pics and the finished project and come to the realization that I spent way more than the car is worth restoring it and will just have to keep it forever. Lol.
