i've been checking around and there is almost $100 differnce in price
for the 94 delsol sohc and 94 delsol dohc.
i'm just wondering whats the size differnce? 2.5"?2.7" or 3"?
i have a b16 in my eh2, which intake fits my car? i've used the search but didn't get much info

i know that most sohc's throttle body points upward while the dohc's open horizontally.

 

Just the piping size difference between SOHC & DOHC products. I believe you need LS/typeR AEM to mate to your b16 TB.

 

So the dohc intake tubes are larger than the sohc ones? I mean theyre pretty much the same size as far as installing goes but if the pipe is larger, more airflow, more hp right?

you can fit a sohc intake on a dohc motor depending on the direction the TB points.
this is done by squeezing the rubber over the TB (that didnt sound too good ).

anyways, although it can be done.. why do it? putting a smaller intake on a bigger TB defeats the whole purpose of a bigger TB. thats like getting a header with a 2.5" collector and putting a 1" cat and b-pipe on it.

but i've also read some post that they had the 99-00 si intakes with there b16 swap in the eg/eh but had minor fitment issues. Which one would be the perfect fit? should i just get the one for my car originally?
