4.9 fd feels GREAT on the street. Not the best if you do alot of highway driving though as the rpms will be pretty high, even with th LS 5th.

Sorry, i haven't been on in a few days. The compression is about 11.5:1. The motor made 229whp on PUMP gas. I'm sure on race gas and a more aggressive tune, it would make even more power! The chassis has 138k miles as of now, the motor has about 15k miles on it. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks, Paul
