Default Function7 end links clicking normal?

I have an ITR rear arb with F7 bushings and end links on a 98 civic with stock lcas. I have come across this issue recently where the spherical bearing in the end links clicks, not against anything, when load is applied. This clicking is not very loud but gets annoying when driving since it is amplified because the sway bar bushings are metal. I was wondering for those of you running this set up if you have this issue our I justhappened to have end links from F7 that wore out prematurely.

mine do the same thing...i was thinking mine was from where i had mounted them in a different hole on my F7 control arms from what would be the stock mounting location for my car.....this seems to give me a little more stiffness which is what i wanted, but im having the same problem as you so im guessing that what i thought what my problem, really isnt the problem

Yeah there is no play in them, I verified a ton of times. It's just the nature of these end links it seems, if you have F7 end link bushings as well it gets amplified.

I agree, hopefully they pull their weight at the track on Tuesday though. When you have a DD/Track split car you have to sacrifice somethings for others.

I always said, "DD is a state of mind".

The clicking is normal as the teflon liners in the linkages eventually seat in and loosen a hair. Furthermore since the connections are solid (i.e. no poly or rubber to absorb the vibrations), sound tends to transmit directly into the chassis.

Such truth, right there.

My Comptech rear swaybar came with spherical endlinks, which also "click" a bit at times. Seems like the choice is either bushing slop, or spherical noise.

I chose to simply turn the radio up. A state of mind indeed.
