b18b eg swap questions
i have found tons of info regarding the swap via the search, and im almost done... but there are a few questions i still have-
1. how do you remove the civic throttle cable and install the integra cable? a link to a DIY would be awesome
2. does anyone have a diagram for the vacuum lines, where they need to go ect?
3. for people with JDM ITR headers and stock eg civic exhaust, what flange did you use for the civic cat?
thanks so much!

You unhook the throttle cable from the throttle body which is self explanatory. Open the butterfly by hand(CCW)so you have some slack in the cable and then pop the cable end loose from the throttle body. Unbolt the mount that bolts to the Intake Manifold. Go inside the car with a light and unbolt the cable from the pedal, its kinda aggravating. Then, remove the old cable and install the Integra unit.
The Vacuum lines will be very easy to figure out, they go pretty much right back in the same place they did on the D-Series, there's nothing to it, once you drop in the LS you will see.
Have no experience with the ITR Header. Although I wouldn't think that would be the best choice of Header for the LS. IIRC the ITR header is a 4-1. This gives improved topend performance but you will probably loose some of the lowend grunt that makes the LS nice to begin with. The LS has nice lowend and midrange power but not much up top and signs off at 6,000RPMs, I just don't see a 4-1 being a good match. I would go with a 4-2-1 Header unless your planning to go LS/VTEC.
