Default I switched to an R ecu and need some help, asap.

here is the thing, i drive a 5th gen hatch and i am running a obd2 b18C1 set up which was rebuilt with complete usdm type R internals from top to bottom. now i'm slowly making the changes that i need to support the rebuild, which is Type R ecu, JG intake manifold, and some exhaust manifold, now i picked up an itr ecu for next to nothing and couldn't refuse the offer and sold my gsr ecu to cover the cost of the itr ecu, the car ran totally differently and for the better and i loved the change, until i can afford to follow through with the rest of the upgardes, but the problem is now since i haven't gotten to change my throttle body, or intake manifold, the motor isn't getting the right amount of air "at idle" that the ecu is sending,..... so i tried to allow more air by opening up the throttle body by turning the flathead screw open and turn as much as i can and the car actually started the first time we tried but is barely idling at 200 rpm, i have to hold the rpm's up or drive for awhile until it catches, then it eventually sits always at 200, but obviously toooo low!, so i want to know is there a temporary fix i can do until i get my throttle body bored, and get the intake manifold? what about advancing the timing? would that help?

i really don't know can anyone gimmie any advise?
