What ECU are you using to run the set-up right now?
The car will run better OBD1 and a chipped ECU but it will require some tuning.

I am using a b16 stock setup, with a p28. yes it can be chipped and a crossover harness can be made/purchased. I believe there are some wires to add for the vtec and some other stuff but being that I have the setup ( no i didnt install it obviously) its very possible.

and also, you can tune these cars on the street. dyno is not required. find yourself a local tuner with a good rep and im sure he can street tune your car for 250-350 dollars.

just dont use chrome. its outdated. find someone fluent with neptune or if you have mad cash do hondata.

it has a pw0 ecu now and it's chipped.the reason i was asking about the tuning was because i don't have that much money now.it cost like 500 to switch to obd1 plus a ecu.hondata s300 is 500,and a dyno tune for a hour is 400.i can buy a ecu and have it chipped and go to obd1 but if it's not dynoed will it blow my motor.

not if you get it street tuned, but i wouldn't recommend you entering boost if you don't have it tuned at all. so find you a local tuner will good recommendation and have him street tune it.

my tuner told me that theres an issue with chrome and how it compensates for the voltage of the vehicle, as you know the voltage of your vehicle is going up and down, especially with my system, and the injectors have to compensate for the change through chrome, which is flawed in this area. something like that any way, im not a tuner haha.

I don't know where you are getting those prices from but they seem REALLY high. Shops in MN charge about $150-$160 an HR for dyno tuning.

Agreed. I have an excellent tuner that will do an NA setup in about an hour and only charges ~$120.

OP, if you take the time to learn a bit about tuning, you could even do a "street tune" yourself and then bring it to your tuner for the fine tuning. That depends heavily on your proficiency with cars though...
