hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew what tire size i could use on a set of 16 in. rims for my 97 civic lx 4 door its at stock height the guy who is selling me the rims say that he had them on a 91 civic with 205/40/16s. however i would really like more of a sidewall. i was thinking more like a 225/50/16... anyone kno if this will work out i want to get the best fit with the least amount of scrubbing

yea 205 40 16 is pretty good 225 50 16 is huge lol you will be ready for off road wit hthat sh ! t lol

 

205/45/16 would work too

 

Stick with 205.. My homie has 215 on 17s on his em2.. Rears only

 

ok cool thanks seems like its gonna be the 205-40-16 the only reason i threw in the 225-50-16 is because i was going off what i had on 18's for my ranger i really didn't think to count in smaller rim size and all that, anyways thanks everyone for your help i would have hated to buy them and they not work out right
