Default Finished turbo install in my 1996 Integra, now it doesnt want to stay on.

Sup all

1996 B18B1
T3/T4 set up
P06 w/ Basemap
DSM 440cc injectors w/ box

I just finished up the install and after injectors it has a really shaky idle, as if it is mis firing I can get a video if youd like. Also, it just shuts off unless I hold the gas pedal in. But once its in motion it drives fine as if theres nothing.

It also shoots black smoke when you turn it on. But pretty much, the idle is horrible and it turns off. Any way to adjust this?

your basemap is VERY base... it's made to get to a tuner, not to drive around. hope you have something that's tunable other than the basemap.

as the shodan sait, a base map is for getting you to the tuner.

if you arent confident thats it, go back and look what you changed. if it is misfiring, why is it misfiring? mixed up plug wires? injector clip not seated? you need to go back and see what was changed.

I understand that it was made to get to a tunner, but if my car keeps turning off at every redlight/stop , because rpms drop, then their must be something else wrong, how can I increase my rpms ?? or what should i do?

As was stated, check, go back and look what you changed... Wire order, plugs, distributor, Injector plugs, resistor box, IAC valves etc. Trying to "rev higher" without solving that problem will make your bad situation worse.

Time to get to work.

"Black smoke" is caused by incomplete combustion. If your base map runs super-rich at idle, your car won't want to idle. If the smoke is "blue" then you're burning oil, which we all know is bad. Good luck with the problem.
