I just bought a trans l3 single cam trans and upon inspection of the input shaft, I heard a sound that sounded like something bouncing around in there. Then I took off a pulg(idk what its called) but I took it off and saw wat lookd like metal to me but it was soft like paper. Lol that's the only way I could describe it. It shifts and the shaft spins good. What could the metal be. And how safe is it to install and be drive able? Thanx

 

only way to find out is crack it open and see.

only thing i could guess is if the bearing broke in side.
