To go all race or not...
I'm debating on going all race or not. I have an 00 Si. (Plan on keeping it all motor)
So for starters if I decide to go all race OBD2= not able to drive on street again (which is just fun sometimes with a full race car) I don't plan on attending every event on the East Coast or even making any money.
However it is fun to have a car that is capable of being competitive and well it's just fun and i can make money selling these stock Si parts to buy new stuff!
The downside being it's no longer legal on the street and the car is devalued.
What made you guys decide to go all out?

Yea it's my fav. civic but I want to keep one because I think they will be worth money one day rolling across Barrett Jackson. Laugh all you want but I know we'll all be 50 somethin one day and we'll be watching ITR's and bone stock hatches roll across the auction floor. But yeah thats what makes it hard I want to go NA but want to do it with this car but this car will never be a serious competitor with it's weight.

Be way cheaper to buy a rolling shell that already has a cage and stuff for racing, just swap your motor and trans if you want. Lots for sale on the for sale page.
