I just came accross a seller with magnus intake manifolds for stupid cheap. 400 bucks. i thought to my self there is no way that can be right. in comparing pictures there are suttle differences that to the untrain eye you wouldnt pickup. Has anyone else seen these things. what do you think and why. I personally think they are bogus knock offs.

Well the item is located about 45min away from Magnus shop. So it is possible it is legit. Hard to say without seeing inside the TB , pretty sure Marco uses velocity stacks in side his manifolds. Mabye this one doesnt have them and that is why it is cheaper.

 

That is possible. From what i can see matching pics side by side the runners on the magnus are round where they meet the head flange and the injector boses come off of that but on this one on the bay the injector bosses are part of that more so and just looks different. maybe there a cheaper version without the velocity stacks. from what i can tell from pictures the rest of the plenum looks to be pretty close to the magnus in quality and design. if thats the case is it worth it or would a victor show same results

Well thats why the beware was a question mark and not an exclamation point. i wasnt sure and wanted feedback and thats what i got. thanks to everyones input.

Just ask for pics of the inside and you'll know whether it is a fake or a real one...

A sudden reduction of price does tell you something though... Buyer beware.
