FS: Precision GT35r T4 .68ar - CHEAP
I'm selling my Precision T4/GT35R .68ar turbo. I bought this used. The tip of the exhaust blades are bent but I'm told it still works fine. I was told it was from running high egt's but Precision believes it's from a foreign object. I've also read on other forums of people running them this way with no problems. No signs of any leaking seals and very minimal shaft play. The compressor housing is polished. The turbo outlet is cut and I'm including a elbow with it so you can have it welded up for whichever way you need (since fmic piping setup may be different from car to car).
PRICE IS NOW FIRM!!!
Selling a couple different ways-
$425 shipped for Turbo with fittings (-4an oil feed fitting, 5/8 oil return flange, 2 banjo to 3/8 hose water fittings)
$375 shipped for Turbo without fittings
If you don't want the exhaust housing I'll take $50 off of either of the above prices.
Thanks
Sean

I'm not 100% sure. I just shot off an email to precision this morning so I'm waiting on a response. I know with the chra core exchange through Garrett is around $400. I've seen on other forums where people run em for a while the way it is. Honestly, I was going to run it as is. I'll post up when I hear something back.
Thanks,
Sean
Thanks,

Just got an email back from Wes at Precision. He thinks a foreign object created the bent fins. It is repairable and I'm pretty sure that is all that is wrong. The turbo spins freely with minimal (probably within specs) shaft play.
Here's the email he sent
Sean,
It is not very likely that your turbine wheel melted do to high egt's. It sounds like you had some type of foreign object go through your exhaust. In order to fix it you are looking at around $330. That is to just for the Turbine wheel and labor. If there are any other issues with the turbo the price can go up.

Hope this helps. Again I'm very open to offers. Someone could pick this up, send it off, and get a fresh gt35r for a good price. Like I said, I was going to run it as is based on what I read here http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-eng...-barely-2.html

bump!! Final price drop. Just knocked off another $50. If it doesn't sell at this price I'll hold onto it.
