3.5 quarts.... you would have to disconnect the 2 tranny hoses from the radiator have the car on jack stands and start the car and put it in D or R and drain about 2-3 quarts out. put it back in park add about 2-3 quarts in the fill hole. redo the steps again and drain another quart off and you should have over 80% of the system flushed. thier is no pan or filter to change in these transmissions.

I thought the trannys had a drain and fill plug. Obviously the Drain is the bottom plug and the fill is the top plug.

I would reccomend doing it this way:
1) Drain the fluid out from the drain plug on the transmission
2)wait till it is empty than put the plug back on
3)Fill the fluid back through the filler plug. Fill the tranny up till you can feel the fluid with your index finger in the fill hole.
4) start the car and go through all the gears 4-5 times. While the vehicle is running check the fluid and add bits more as needed.
5)Once the dipstick reads ok go through the gears one more time just to make sure it's shifting smoothly.

And presto your done!

For the auto you fill it where the dipstick is at. But 3.5 quarts for a tranny? I don't remember but is that correct?
