Hello, I just bought off a 2005 civic si today. In addition, I am strongly considering in changing the stock Honda Emblems in the front and rear to the Type R ones. However, before I do this I want to make sure the correct way to take them out.
So for the front emblem is it screwed to the grill? If so, would I have to take out the grill and unscrew it?
Lastly, for the rear emblem I would just heat it and peel it off with dental floss correct?

People have told me that you can safely just pull out the Front H emblem. Is it really safe to do this? The ep3 have their grill attached to the bumper, so I want to know if there is an alternative way in taking out and replacing the H emblem on the front without taking off the bumper.

Alright thanks guys took out the front H emblem and replaced it with the red one. I just yanked it out rather than taking out the bumper. I had to sand out the screw holes a bit to keep the emblem leveled however.
Now, I am trying to figure out how I am going to do the rear H emblem. I want to be cautious because I do not want to mess with the paint. Is the rear H emblem just glued to the back or is it screwed?
