well just did new cometic headgasket, arp headstuds, and said ****it why not drop some blox cams in it cuz i dont feel like searching out the itrs.

Puttin em in on tuesday but curious what u guys who have run these have to say. is the difference alot or somewhat noticable. wont be tuned for a lil bit. so lets hear the reviews so i know what to expect

 

How about you tell us what Blox cams you installed and the motor they're in?

 

ahh true. blox A cams so i dont have to **** wit valvetrain. and goin in a gsr wit boltons

 

IDK about using stock valvesprings. I know Blox says its OK but it's probably not a good idea. As far as the cams, I've got them and they are pretty nice. There is a noticeable extension to the top end, but I can't say much until I tune them (soon).

 

You can use them on stock springs but it would be a good idea to upgrade springs if they have high mileage on them. Swapping in the inner valvesprings so both sides have them is a good upgrade as well. If you want to know what people think of them just look at any dyno where people are using skunk 2 stage 1 tuner cams.

 

thanks for the advice. its got decent mileage on it. if i just drop them in do i have to worry bout advancing or retarding at all?

 

These are designed to just drop in. IDK how much difference cam timing adjustments will make with them.

If you use the search function, you will find dynos of motors with Blox A cams.

When having trouble using the search function just google the question and you'll get links to H-T that way.

 

You can also go to advanced search in google and specify the URLs you want to search. I do this when looking for things in H-T (which has a terrible search function) or sometimes T-I (which only searches thread titles).

ya asking peopls experience is spoon feeding. maybe u need to learn what that means. i didnt ask u to build my motor u ****. i asked peoples experiences wit the cams.
