Default mil code 9 trouble

hey guys i just bought a 1995 accord with the v6 in it. the cel is on and when i jumped the plug behind the glove box i got code 9-cyp sensor. now my haynes manual says the cyp sensor is behind one of the intake cam sprockets but i cant find one for sale anywhere. and ive read somewhere else that you cant buy just the cyp sensor because its part of the dist. assembly. can somebody shed some light on this for me, thanks.

The CYP sensor is indeed behind the front timing cover. The 4 pin connector is accessible for testing the sensor. If have to replace the sensor. You will have to remove the front cam gear to replace the sensor.
