I have a 90 honda accord.. its a good strong car no problems.. good engine, runs strong.. it was parked for about a month while i could afford a cv joint for it.. an it was fixed a couple days ago.. ive been driving it untill today i started it up pulled out into the street and it started to run rough, and idle pretty rough, my exaust sounds super weird, and i smelt like burnt fuel smell, idk whats going onn.. anyone have any ideas? i was told it could be the cat converter and to but fuel injector cleaner in it and what not. but idk i was hoping for some advice?

 

I have a 90 accord problem and it has been running ruff lately to. I have came to the conclusion it is either the fuel pump or the fuel filter. In fact it even cut off today when I put it in neutral. But ran strong when I was driving. So for me its either the fuel pump or filter. I would check that out to bro.

 

hey thanks man.. yeah ill check that out.. hopefully its nothing expensive.. my car kinda did the same thing kinda the higher rpm the smoother it was running.. some people told me its the catylic converter, or the fuel injector or fuel pump or filter, or maybe a spark plug.
