hey hey i finally got around to ripping my trans out to install my new clutch and find out if the trans itself is shot not just the linkage or anything... i think i have oil on the friction surfaces...NEWHOOOO

yea ok so it all ready to go and when i was pryin away and tryin to pound the input shaft back out so i could drop it, it seems like the h22 trans is a tad longer and seems to be pinching against the fender under the trans mount, i have a jack with a a 2x4 under the motor, and the trans...im just wondering if anyone else ran into this problem or i should try taking it out through the top... i drilled and tapped the 3 holes to move the studs to use the same bracket on the trans

 

u need to tilt the engine more. basically take out your front mount bolt along with your trans mount mount.
