Default B16A N/A help...Cams, lma's, etc.

Long story short, I just picked up an complete B16A automatic swap from a 1992 EG2, only has 44,983 miles, verified with notarized odometer statement.
I already pulled off the auto trans, flexplate, etc.
I want to stay N/A, have no desire to boost. I already picked up some used ITR valve springs, intake and exhaust, and GSR cams for a very good price. Since I am down this far into the head, should I replace the old style LMA's?
And should I just save a little longer before reassembly and buy the ITR/CTR cams? I am just afraid I will be unhappy with the gsr cams and want to use the ITR/CTR cams, just outta money right now.
I already have a ITR 4-1 header and ITR cat ready to bolt onto my current 2.5" 5Zigen exhaust.
I want to use all oem part if possible, I will not be seeing any track time, just want something that is spirited and fun to drive, but reliable.
Thanks for any input or help with it.

You don't need to swap out those old LMA's unless they're bad. You'll want to save up for ITR/CTR cams as you won't notice any difference between GSR and stock b16a cams.

Ok, I thought there was a big difference between the gsr cam and B16A auto cams. But I am on the look out for CTR/ITR cams then.

The GSR cams are bigger than the b16s. There is no reason not to install them.

Also, there are a several b16 dyno threads; you should search through them and see what kind of builds are getting the power level you are looking for.

Best of luck with your project.

Thanks, I have been reading B16 N/A build threads for the last couple of days. I just don't want to have to do something twice, if I can help it. Do it right the first time is how I am persuing this build.

Just put the ITR valve springs in and run the GSR cams. When you get the $ to upgrade to ITRs (or BC3+, etc.) you can just swap them out. Its easy.

Ok, thanks for the help. Is there anything in my build that seems like a waste? Money that could be better spent somewhere else? This is my first DOHC Vtec build, so I am trying to research and read up on what works with what, but you get so many conflicting ideas when reading through the archives.
I've done a few SOHC Vtec's and DOHC non-vtec's, but I am in unfamiliar territory right now.

IMO, it looks like you're doing quite well for part selection for what you want compared to most people. Some sort of tuning solution would be nice when all is said and done.

I planned on getting an ecu chipped and tuned from phearable, thats the best I can do, due to the lack of tuners and/or dynos in my area of BFE wyoming...LOL
