Turbo Sohc 0 - 60 (100 KM/H) Time please
there must be something wrong then
i can't seem to launch good....
my tires spins a bit.. then the car would be slow picking up
it would start moving around the 2500 to 3000 RPM... which kind of sucks...
I launched at around 3500 RPM...

10 seconds? 60mph?
My naturally aspirated Civic did 0-60mph (estimated calc) in 4.1 seconds on slicks. Somethings wrong with your setup.

wow so your na civic is faster 0-60 then a Lamborghini Diablo which runs 0-60 in 4.3 seconds, and also runs the 1/4 in 12.2 sec............
EDIT: Take a look if you'd like... nothing special, but it shows how quick I went thru 1st and 2nd gear (filmed at Gainesville, FL) http://www.endlesstrance.com/LouisLSVTEC.mpeg

Hybridkoop - """Technically yes and no. My N/A Civic did consistent 12.80's@107mph but on slicks. The Lambos numbers are done on street tires, he would eat me alive on the street. But as far as my 0-60mph time was, it was accurate. On 22x8x13 inch slicks, I was in 1st and 2nd gear for all of a couple seconds or so... """
If your from JAX and you used to drive a white 2 dr civic i know who you are and if thats the case then I can vouch for this guy. thats a fast car i saw it myself and I think he would eat a lamborghini of the line. Theres actually civics on this board that will put a Lamborghini to shame...I personally know of and have met the driver of a street driven 10sec honda on here he ran 10.6 @ 138mph, I won't say any names this man hustles people on Florida streets.
In other news xbird...maybe you should stop asking whats wrong with your car and start asking whats wrong with the stopwatch counter or maybe even the driver there is no way in hell your car takes 10 seconds to get up 60mph thats basically starting of in second gear if you will, seriously speaking i think a moped will get u there faster so do it again but take it to the track this time or borrow someones GTECH pro or try another stop watch.

heh anyways whats the elevation in edmonton? its not that high dude. if your timing is accurate and your 0-100 km/h is 10 seconds then that is pretty sad. thats like stock dx territory. why dont you just take it to a track and get a 1/4 mile time? 0-100km/h is so quick its not the most useful statistic.
whats your setup anyways? d16z6 turbo? id run it in the 1320. you should be seeing 14's for sure... that way you will at least get an accurate time rather than a friend and a stopwatch

Holy ****! I run 0-60 in 9 sec and its a pure stock dpfi engine.. I'm sure it's not your tires. It's just you you need to learn to shift and learn how to step on gas.
