throttle body ?'s for b18c1 with b16 head
ok people I cant really find a lot of info on my setup but I have a b18c1 with a b16 head.It has type r pistons and dual valve springs with titanium retainers and some other head work done to it and also running a hondata. I have a edelbrock victor x intake and I want to upgrade my throttle body.I was thinking about the 70 mm victor x throttle body. looks like it goes well with the size of the intake but It replaces the throttle postioning motor with all the cooling lines and such to it.My question is If I get rid of the throttle postioning motor will the car idle fine even with hondata and also is it really even going to give me an improvement versus going with maybe a smaller throttle body like a 65 mm performer x that will let you still use the throttle postioning motor.I also am wondering if it is going to make pedal response sort of bog down and not as responsive.any feedback will help lots
